The Argo Way

That's the mission, and it's not wall art. It decides how we write software, run warehouses, and answer the phone, backed by three values every Argo employee can recite.

A technology company that ships

Argo is a technology company that lives in logistics and print, not a warehouse that bought some software. Our core values are Excellence, Execution, and Evolution, and they point at one crucial priority: partnership. Every person at Argo knows the values, can recite them, and works them into every part of the organization.

The result: we no longer compete by lowering prices. We compete on value instead: systems that improve shipping and reduce waste, and an obsessive focus on the partner experience. We don't cut corners to save ourselves time or money. When a trade-off makes sense for your business, like an economy service instead of a premium one, that's your call and we'll support it.

The manifest

Three values, zero asterisks

  1. Excellence

We hold ourselves to a standard nobody in this industry asks for. When product is lost, stolen, or damaged in our possession, we reimburse our partners at 100% of replacement cost, with no per-package cap. Most warehouses limit that liability to cents per pound. Once a carrier has the package we're not the insurer, and we say so plainly rather than letting anyone assume otherwise. Our Exception Reports surface problems before you feel them, so we manage issues proactively, not reactively. We play offense, not defense.

  2. Execution

Ideas are worth nothing until they ship. We test them, implement the changes that drive a positive impact, and reward innovation and intelligent risk-taking. Execution is about the guardrails that keep us focused, so the projects we start are the projects we finish. Our partners feel the difference in weeks, not quarters.

  3. Evolution

Standing still is losing ground. Every Argo employee, every single one, submits weekly recommendations for organizational improvement that support our values and move our KPIs. Small ideas compound. So do the savings we pass along.

What that looks like in practice

Values are cheap until they show up in your operation, or in your software. Here's where ours do.

Ideas

A weekly improvement engine

Weekly improvement recommendations are required from every employee, then tested, measured against KPIs, and shipped when they work. Your fulfillment gets a little better every week, on purpose.

Analytics

Analytics we hand over

Our software and analytics systems, including employee efficiency and cost-saving metrics, are provided to our partners to improve their own operations. Detailed tracking data included.

Looking up. Looking out. Looking after.

Argo is deeply committed to providing life-changing experiences: for our team, for our partners, and for people we will never meet. We call it the Outward Mindset, and it has three directions.

Looking up

We look first to God, who we trust to drive our success. It keeps the wins humble and the mission bigger than the balance sheet.

Looking out

Then we look outward, to our partners, our employees, and everyone around us. We don't try to compete; we collaborate with everyone we can. We've recruited the best team in our industry, we hold each other accountable, and we take amazing care of our people so they'll take care of everything else.

Looking after

We keep our margins strong on purpose: it funds our commitment to those in need. Bonuses are tied to each employee's "Personal Why," and when travel, bonuses, or incentives also help people in need anywhere in the world, Argo's contributions grow substantially.

Academies that change the math of a life

By partnering with like-minded organizations, we've created educational academies in the poverty pockets of the Middle East. We work through local organizations to find the people who need these life-changing services most, then invest in their futures with self-reliance skills.

The underprivileged and oppressed become educated and equipped, with skills that open doors to lucrative work. Your partnership helps us build a sustainable, scalable model without major additional investment. Ship a box; fund a future.
